2010 Scholarship Recipients
Alex B. is a graduate of the University of Maryland and will be studying at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. He has worked at AIPAC focusing on college student leaders across the US to assist them in their understanding of Israel.
Joseph B. is a graduate of the University of Michigan, in political science and will be studying Middle Eastern history at Tel Aviv University. He hopes his experiences will assist him in the future to find some resolution of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Sara K. is studying at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, having been graduated from The University of Colorado. When she returns to practice medicine in the US she expects to be actively involved in American Jewish life.
Daniel N., a graduate of the University of Michigan, will be studying industrial engineering at The Technion. Having been actively involved in Hillel while at the university, he expects to continue his activity in the Jewish community in the US.
Elan N., a member of Phi Beta Kappa at Binghamton University, will be studying at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. He hopes that his medical training and his commitment to Jewish life will assist him to contribute to the Jewish community upon his return to the US.
Martin P., a graduate of the University of Maryland, will be studying at the Sofaer International MBA Program at Tel Aviv University’s Recanati School of Business. After completing those studies, he expects to return to the US to become involved in renewable energy generation and water purification.
Daniel R. has been studying for his BA at the Arison School of Business at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. He looks forward to returning to the US to be involved the financial world and in the American Jewish community.
Ari S. is studying at the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. Focusing on Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security Studies there, he hopes to become an influential advocate for Israeli upon hiss return to the US.
Joshua S. has been studying at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he was Chairman of the ZOA chapter. He expects to be both a practicing physician in the US as well as an active advocate for Israel.
Grace S. will be studying at Tel Aviv University. After completing her education she hopes to become a Clinical Child Psychologist and to be an active member of the American Jewish community.
