The
American Jewish League for Israel stands for a two-way bridge of
understanding and cooperation between the Jewish communities of
Israel and America and supports the Jerusalem program adopted by the
World Zionist Congress:
The unity of the Jewish People and
the centrality of Israel in Jewish life;
The ingathering
of the Jewish People in its historic homeland, Eretz Israel,
though Aliya from all countries;
The strengthening of the
state of Israel which is based on the prophetic vision of justice
and peace;
The preservation of the identity of the Jewish
People through the fostering of Jewish and Hebrew education and of
Jewish spiritual and cultural values;
The protection of
Jewish rights everywhere.
Members receive our newsletter with up-to-date
information on rapidly developing events and how they affect Israel
and the Jewish world. Members are also eligible to receive a reduced
subscription rate to MIDSTREAM magazine ($10 per year), the finest
review on Israel and matters of Jewish interest published today in
this country. New members receive a FREE one-year subscription to
MIDSTREAM.
Dues are tax-deductible. The dues from our members
helps support our programs and our public forums.
